A |     Colombo, Oct 16 (UNI) Three people have died and over 55,000 people from 13,902 families have been affected by floods and landslides in Sri Lanka in the past 72 hours, the Disaster Management Center (DMC) said on Sunday.



The rainy weather that ushered in floods and landslides will continue till Wednesday, the DMC said.



Meanwhile, Director of Irrigation (Hydrology) Eng. S.P.C. Sugeeshwara said the risk of floods in some areas will exacerbate if heavy rains continue.



The landslide warning issued for six districts has been extended considering the adverse weather conditions, the DMC said.



The Department of Meteorology said the current heavy rains are due to the influence of the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) near the country.

UNI/XINHUA PRT。    在USB 80Gbps(原来的USB4 v2.0)正式公布后,Intel也首次预览了下一代雷电接口。Intel暂时没有使用“雷电5”的说法,但从多年惯例来看,应该跑不了。“雷电5”号称可以有着3倍雷电4的速度,也就是120Gbps,不过这是一种特殊模式,主要用于单线连接高端显示器等场景,借助PAM3调制技术,可实现上行120Gbps(发送端),下行40Gbps(接收端),也就是非对称分流。双向对等传输的话,“雷电5”的最大传输速率依然是80Gbps。正因此,“雷电5”可带动4K 240Hz或者2K 480Hz的显示屏输出等。其它方面,“雷电5”兼容最长1米的雷电4线缆,支持DisplayPort 2.1信号传输,PCIe传输提速两倍(外接独显等)。一个诡异的情况是,当年USB4是以Intel开放雷电标准为基础开发而来。这一次,Intel居然表示,“雷电5”是基于USB4 v2开发而来……对此,Intel公司的Julie Sigler回应解释,USB4 v2定义了很多特性,而且很多是可选而非强制。

B | “雷电5”则代表USB4 v2的高级别形态,是几乎最完整的解决方案。对于消费者和用户来说,拿到USB4 v2你需要作一番调查它到底支持哪些特性,而“雷电5”就不需要,几乎一切特性都支持。按计划,Intel将在2023年公布下一代雷电接口的正式名称和更多细节(比如供电能力是否能到240W),目前已经有雷电4 v2的呼声,希望Intel别这么做……。
